Guidelines for Content

1. Title

Create the title of your content in such a way that it fits the topic you are presenting. The title should not include your grade level.

2. Sources

If you upload content that includes excerpts, images or diagrams that are not your own work, make sure that you include the sources of the information on your content. The source can be directly added to the PDF content, or added to the description of the content upon uploading it.

3. Image Quality Framing

Make sure that your content is cropped and framed properly before uploading. Do not upload content that has large frames of empty space around the image and make sure any personal backgrounds are cropped out when uploading photographs of your work. Don’t upload anything that has part of the learning content cropped out.

4. Image Quality Sharpness

Pay attention to the quality of your content. Make sure that the image is sharp and that no part of the content is blurred and out of focus. Do not upload anything that cannot be easily read.

5. Image Quality Brightness

Make sure that your content has appropriate brightness and contrast and can easily be read on a screen. Do not upload anything that is too bright or too dark for the learning material to be read.

6. School Relevance

Make sure that your uploaded content is relevant to the school. This includes all subject-specific content and anything that helps students learn or organise their learning (e.g. cover sheets, timetables, study tips, overviews, etc.).

7. Detail

Make sure that your content includes enough information for it to be helpful for another student to learn something from it. Where possible, include explanations, descriptions and examples.

8. Media Copyright

Please upload only your own content. Do not infringe the copyright of third parties, i.e. quote correctly, do not plagiarise, and acknowledge all sources.. Only upload worksheets if filled in by yourself, and please make sure the title and description of past papers are clearly marked.

9. Summarise Content

Make sure that content of the same topic is grouped together and uploaded as one piece of content. Do not separate pages of content and upload them individually; try to keep related content together to make it easier for users to find and study with.
